Superstar WR A.J. Brown is heading into his third year with the Philadelphia Eagles. After a Super Bowl trip in 2022 that ended with a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Eagles rolled into the 2023 campaign ready to make another deep postseason run.

Things got off to a great start, as Philly went into Week 13 with a 10-1 record. Shortly after that though, things took a nasty turn for the Birds.

The Eagles dropped six of their last seven games, including a 32-9 Wild Card Round loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In addition to the early season exit, Brown missed that playoff game with a sprained MCL in his right knee that suffered in the Week 18 bout against the New York Giants.

That left an uneasy feeling within Brown and he was pissed with his 2023 performance.

A.J. Brown Is Never Satisfied With His Play

"In his mind he feels like a failure, which is why you love him and why he is who he is because he is such a competitor ... He's never satisfied.""

After being eliminated, Brown traveled and went to the Florida Atlantic University training facility. He met with his longtime trainer and FAU head strength and conditioning coach Joey Guarascio.

Down there he was rehabbing his knee injury while also doing some drills that helped him dominate on the field.

In 2023, Brown racked up a franchise record 106 receptions for 1,456 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns. He also had six straight games with more than 125 receiving yards, which was an NFL record.

Even with all these stats, Brown wasn't satisfied. And that is a scary sight for the rest of the NFL. Since coming over to Philly, he's recorded 1400-plus yards in consecutive seasons. With him not being happy with those numbers, the sky is the limit.
