6 Players Eagles Should Sign After First Week of Free Agency
6. Kristian Fulton, CB
Just like we started off this list talking about the idea of a "reclamation project" like CJ Henderson, the Eagles are in a great position to be able to take on the talent of someone like Kristian Fulton.
And Fulton could do quite well under a coordinator like Vic Fangio.
Fulton is a former second-round pick out of LSU. He obviously has talent and a history of production. The problem is, he's missed quite a bit of time over the last couple of seasons. But those are the risks you take in NFL free agency most of the time anyway, aren't they?
Most players who reach free agency come with at least one red flag one way or another. At least in the case of someone like Kristian Fulton, you're taking a risk on a younger player who was probably graded pretty high on your draft board once upon a time. And you pair him up with the combination of Vic Fangio and Christian Parker, who is one of the best defensive backs coaches in the league.
The Eagles definitely need help at the cornerback position and there shouldn't be any stone left unturned when the offseason is all said and done. A player like Kristian Fulton is worth the risk.
