6. Adoree' Jackson, Cornerback/return specialist

Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio once said that in the NFL, you basically have 96 "starting" cornerbacks since teams spend so much time in the nickel defense. He is a big believer in the idea of never being able to have enough good cornerbacks.

And it's true. You can't have too much depth at this position.

The Eagles could bolster their depth by adding former first-round pick Adoree' Jackson at the cornerback position, even with a number of veterans and young players already in place. But maybe even more than his cornerback skills, Jackson could find renewed value in the league thanks to his ability to return kicks.

We mentioned it earlier, but the kickoff return department is getting a substantial boost in the NFL in 2024. Jackson hasn't returned kicks on a full-time basis since he was a rookie back in 2017, but he'd probably be itching to get back at it if the right opportunity came about. After playing the last three years with the New York Giants, Jackson could find new life in his NFL career with a division rival and upgrade Philly's special teams unit/cornerback depth simultaneously.

If the price is right, this would be a really smart move for Eagles GM Howie Roseman to make.
