6. Devin White, linebacker

The downfall of Devin White in the NFL is going to need to be studied someday. White was once a top-five pick in the NFL Draft despite playing the off-ball linebacker position and he looked like he was going to be well on his way to consistent Pro Bowl selections and even All-Pro voting early on with the Buccaneers.

After helping the Bucs win a Super Bowl and form one of the most dominant defenses in the league, things started to go downhill for White over the last two years, and he just didn't look like the same player for the Bucs last season. There were even former Bucs legends like Warren Sapp coming after White on the internet for his apparent effort in games.

White got out of Tampa Bay this offseason, but didn't have a ton of suitors in NFL free agency, evidenced by the fact that he signed a modest one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles worth just $4 million. When Eagles head coach Vic Fangio was the head coach of the Denver Broncos, it was rumored he loved the athletic, speedy linebacker out of LSU and might have taken him 10th overall had he fallen to the Broncos' selection.

But it wasn't meant to be.

White has been a healthy scratch through four games so far this year with the Eagles and appears well on his way to being an in-season roster cut. He was even recently drug-tested by the NFL after "liking" a tweet during a game in which he wasn't even present. White retweeted a post celebrating his teammate Jalen Hurts fumbling on a hit by Bucs linebacker Lavonte David.

Not only is he not going to be in the Eagles' 2025 plans, he shouldn't be expected to be around much longer this year.
