1. Kenny Pickett, Quarterback

If he's not on the roster bubble, he should be.

A first-round pick for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2022, Kenny Pickett has continued to struggle in the NFL. While he was 14-10 as the starter during his two seasons in The Steel City, Pickett never asserted himself as a viable long-term option. He was shipped to the Eagles after being unhappy with the addition of Russell Wilson, which seemed like a win for Philly.

They landed a backup for Jalen Hurts with plenty of starting experience. And if you looked at his stat line, it would seem as if he's doing just fine. For example, Pickett was an impressive 11-of-13 on his passing attempts during the win over the Patriots on Thursday. However, his yardage proves he's simply not making plays down the field.

Pickett had just 67 yards on the night, which is a mere 5.15 yards per attempt. That's actually better than the prior week when he had 89 yards on 22 passing attempts, an average of 4.04. He now averages 4.6 yards per attempt through two games.

This was an issue for him during his time in Pittsburgh and it seems as though it's only getting worse. Throw in the fact that Tanner McKee outplayed him on Thursday, and led them on a comeback win, and it seems as though Pickett could be in trouble. If he's unable to hold down the QB2 spot ahead of McKee, there's no reason for the Eagles to hold onto him.
