3. Brandon Graham, EDGE

When Philadelphia traded up to the 13th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, many expected to hear the name Earl Thomas get called. The Texas safety was highly-coveted and the Eagles had a need at the position. That’s not where they had their minds set though.

Instead, they called upon Michigan defensive end Brandon Graham. He wasn’t as flashy as Thomas but in the end, he proved to be the correct pick.

Graham has spent the past 14 seasons as a fixture on the Philly defensive line and has yet to disappoint. Other players have come and gone — many of which had a more impressive name — but it’s Graham who sticks around. He’s now appeared in 195 games with 467 tackles and 73 sacks.

He didn’t just rack up sacks early in his career either as he put up 11 in 2022 at the age of 34. That was his career best in this statistic but his worth goes far beyond pressuring the quarterback. The 265-pound EDGE has also been a force against the run, which has been huge for this defense.

With all that being said, the time to move on is here. Graham turns 36 in April and the Eagles need to get quicker on defense. It won’t be easy at all to say goodbye but it feels like this is finally it for him.
