3. James Bradberry, CB

At this rate, I don't think there's any chance James Bradberry is coming back for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024. Bradberry is coming off of one of the worst seasons of his professional career, and the downslide seemingly started for him as soon as he was called for that penalty in last year's Super Bowl.

Not that anyone needed to be reminded of that.

During the 2022 season, Bradberry felt like a gift to the Philadelphia Eagles straight from the football gods. He was named a second-team All-Pro after allowing a QB rating in his coverage of just 51.3. That's outstanding production was a big reason Philadelphia reached the Super Bowl in the first place.

But in 2023, he fell off the proverbial cliff.

Bradberry allowed a whopping 740 yards and 11 touchdowns according to Pro Football Reference. Given the fact that Sean Desai's specialty is the secondary, how could he possibly allow something like this to happen? It was an egregious season from a veteran player like Bradberry, especially considering how much talent and depth the Eagles have in the pass rush department.

Playing cornerback in this defense with the personnel available should have never been that difficult.

Now, Bradberry is going to have a tough time finding any decent deal or starting opportunities elsewhere at the age of 31 this coming season.
