5 Realistic Eagles Trade Targets at the Deadline
4. Jerry Jeudy, WR, Broncos
If the Philadelphia Eagles are going to go after a wide receiver at this year's NFL trade deadline, I think Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is a great option.
This trade would reunite Jeudy with Jalen Hurts as well as DeVonta Smith in Philadelphia and might put him in a better position long-term to succeed. As of lately, Jeudy has really struggled to get things going with the Broncos because their passing game has struggled tremendously with Russell Wilson at the QB position.
Now, Jeudy has had some incredible games for the Broncos, including a three-touchdown performance late last season against the Chiefs, but we haven't really seen him grow into that true WR1 that many thought he could be coming out of Alabama.
The Eagles understand the tough reality of not getting the best return on investment from 2020 first-round wide receivers. They let go of Jalen Reagor this year after he failed to develop for them.
But Jerry Jeudy has proven his talent, at the very least. He could be a dynamic weapon in the passing game who can work well from the slot or outside. He creates separation and he does a tremendous job in the open field after the catch.
