Coming off of arguably their best win of the season -- a blowout against the Miami Dolphins -- the Philadelphia Eagles look poised to claim the top seed in the NFC playoff race rather quickly. Both the 49ers and Lions took tough losses in Week 7, leaving the Eagles as the only 6-1 team in the NFC heading into Week 8 action.
After the trade to acquire safety Kevin Byard, the Eagles added even further to an already loaded roster. There were only three players listed on Wednesday's injury report for Philadelphia, which did not include quarterback Jalen Hurts...

Given that look at the injury report, which players on this Eagles roster can we expect to be inactive on Sunday when Philly takes on the Washington Commanders? Let's look at the five most likely right now...
Philadelphia Eagles 5 most likely inactives in Week 8 vs. Commanders
1. Bradley Roby, CB
The Philadelphia Eagles recently acquired Bradley Roby, and he appeared in two games for the team earlier this month. Unfortunately, being listed as a DNP on the Wednesday injury report is not a great sign that Roby is going to be able to play on Sunday against the Commanders. He's dealing with a shoulder injury and has been now for a couple of weeks.
If that injury keeps Roby out of the mix, expect to continue to see more of Josh Jobe, who has four passes broken up in seven games so far this season.
