1. Jeremy Chinn, S, Carolina Panthers

Injuries aside, this is a move the Eagles should definitely consider, and apparently, they might have already started to kick the tires.

Jeremy Chinn is a hybrid safety who can play downhill and had more than 100 tackles in each of his first two seasons in the league. However, he hasn't seen the field nearly as much this year and that has led to rumors the Panthers could move on, and Philadelphia has been named as a landing spot.

"Chinn, who hasn't been the easiest of fits in the new scheme under defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero, could certainly be a trade candidate. Thus far, the 25-year-old has played in a career-low 56 percent of the team's defensive snaps—a considerable decline from his previous three campaigns." - Anthony Rizzuti of USA Today on Chinn

It was said the Eagles wanted to take Chinn in the 2020 NFL Draft but elected to take Jalen Hurts instead. That worked out for them but it's not as if Chinn would have been a whiff.

Now, if they can find a way to land him in 2023, it would strengthen their secondary as they look to make another run at the title.

The one question about Chinn would be whether or not the Eagles can extend him after making the move. He's set to hit free agency in 2024 and wouldn't come cheap by way of trade. That would make it a hard bargain should he be a rental but working out an extension along with the trade could be a win for everyone involved.
