The Philadelphia 76ers are widely considered to be one of the biggest winners of NBA free agency. Not only did they sign the best player available in Paul George, but they also managed to surround the Tyrese Maxey-George-Joel Embiid trio with perfect role players. Team-friendly deals to Caleb Martin, Kelly Oubre Jr., and Andre Drummond have significantly improved the Sixers' outlook for next season.

However, free agency is not yet over. There are plenty of players available on the market. The Sixers still need to fill out the rest of their roster and some of the free agents out there are familiar faces to Philadelphia fans. Let's take a look at five former Sixers who are still looking for their next teams.

Markelle Fultz

With most of the prominent free agents having signed somewhere, Markelle Fultz is one of the best players available on the market. At this point, it's safe to say that the 26-year-old guard will never fulfill the promise he showed when he was the No. 1 overall pick in 2017. The physical and psychological struggles Fultz had in Philadelphia still continue to this day as his shot has completely abandoned him and he is not as athletic as he used to be.

However, Fultz is still a decent role player. He has admirably turned himself into one of the better perimeter defenders in the league. At 6'4 and 210lbs, he has good positional size and can guard multiple positions. He is an active help defender, getting in passing lanes, and forcing turnovers. Once he gets the steal, he is still a force in transition, helping his team get easy buckets.

Fultz will likely sign a short-term deal that would allow him to prove that he can stay healthy and still make an impact in the NBA.
