This is an absolute make-or-break offseason for the Philadelphia Eagles. Was the late-season collapse just a blip on the radar? Something the team rallied around to come back better than ever? Or was it the first step of a collapse? A sign this team is destined for a rebuild with a new head coach?

The results of the 2024-25 season will answer that question, and that makes this offseason one of the most important for the franchise in recent memory.

With that in mind, here are five crucial moves the Eagles need to make to get back to the Super Bowl next season.

1. Fix the Secondary With a Star Corner

I'm not quite on "stand outside the Linc with a trash can" levels of pessimistic about the Philly cornerback room, but this is the obvious place to start.

Darius Slay just had one of the worst seasons of his career, and he's 33 years old. It's no guarantee that he returns to form as a top corner. And with that said, he was still Philly's player at the position last season.

James Bradberry's contract means we can't cut him, but we should absolutely do something to keep him off the field. Avonte Maddox can't stay healthy and we have no depth behind him. Kelee Ringo and Josh Jobe are not real answers to the problem.

Help needs to come from the outside. It would take some salary cap magic, but a name like L'Jarius Sneed or Jaylon Johnson has to be at the top of the priority list.
