4. Tanner McKee (and Moro Ojomo)

I'm including both Tanner McKee and Moro Ojomo here because they're free squares, so there's not too much to say about either.

McKee is the emergency third quarterback. He doesn't need to be active, because if both Jalen Hurts and Marcus Mariota get injured (or ejected) then McKee is eligible to come into the game anyway. And if either Hurts or Mariota are able to play, there would be no situations where the team would want McKee on the field anyway. So that's a no-brainer.

Ojomo, a 2023 seventh-round pick, is on the 53-man roster because the Eagles don't want to risk losing him to another team. To put him on the practice squad would require clearing him through waivers, which would let 31 other teams have a shot at stealing him away.

But for all intents and purposes, Ojomo is basically on the practice squad anyway. He's not been active yet this season, and there are no signs that there are plans to activate him any time soon.

He's technically on the 53-man roster, but you can pencil him in as one of the first names on the inactives list every week unless we see some injuries start popping up on the interior d-line.
