2. Moro Ojomo

Moro Ojomo made his NFL debut in Week 5 with Fletcher Cox and Marlon Tuipulotu both on the shelf.

The rookie seventh-round pick even got on the field briefly, playing 4 defensive snaps and 1 special teams snap.

But having such limited playing time when there were two defensive tackles ahead of him on the depth chart inactive with injuries tells me that he really doesn't factor into the Eagles' plans still.

Cox was back for a limited practice on Wednesday, so even though Tuipulotu was a DNP with his triceps injury, we may be running out of game day roster space for Ojomo. Just having one of those two active will probably send the rookie back to his usual spot as an inactive.

It's nice to see that the Eagles were willing to get him on the field briefly when it probably wasn't strictly necessary, but every step of the way the coaches have been signaling to us that Ojomo is essentially being used as a practice squad player this season. They haven't been willing to risk putting him through waivers so he'll remain on the 53-man roster, but he's not going to be active unless it's strictly necessary.
