Eagles Offensive Player of the Year: AJ Brown

Through the first two games of the season, it looked like there might be a new No. 1 in the Philadelphia Eagles’ wide receiver room.

AJ Brown had racked up just 108 yards on 11 receptions while DeVonta Smith had gone off for 178 yards and 2 touchdowns on 11 receptions. But things changed very quickly after AJ Brown made it clear that he wanted to be a bigger part of this offense.

Brown then went on a record-setting stretch of six games with 125-plus receiving yards, averaging 138.5 yards on 8.2 receptions per game with 5 touchdowns from Week 3 through 8.

He’s already at 1,005 yards for the season, nearly doubling Smith, who is second on the team with 533.

Brown joins Tyreek Hill as the only two players to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards in the first half of the season, while nobody else has even cleared 850 yet.

Brown isn't quite getting the love Hill is in the national OPoY conversation, but he's clearly the Eagles' winner for the award.
