3. Vince Velasquez

The 31-year-old pitcher had his lone season in Pittsburgh cut short by a devastating UCL injury he suffered last May. The former Phillies starting pitcher had a 4-4 record and a 3.86 ERA in eight starts, which wasn’t bad as his FIP was 3.87.

The veteran pitcher spent six seasons with the Phillies, where he had a 30-40 ERA and 4.93 ERA. Velasquez had good moments on the mound where he looked unhittable but had his down moments where he couldn’t find the zone.

It’s been almost a year since Velasquez underwent surgery on his UCL last June, so there’s a chance we might see him back on the mound sooner rather than later.
