2. Brad Hand

The 34-year-old southpaw hasn’t signed with a team yet after a rough 2023 campaign with the Atlanta Braves. The former Phillies reliever had a skyrocketing 7.50 ERA in 20 appearances and allowed 19 hits and 15 earned runs in 18 innings.

Before joining the Braves, Hand began the 2023 campaign with the Colorado Rockies. The veteran relief pitcher had a 3-1 record and a 4.54 ERA in 40 appearances.

This was not the reliever that Phillies fans remember from 2022, who had a 2.80 ERA and was a weapon out of the bullpen. During that season, Hand only gave up 14 earned runs, 37 hits, and two home runs in 45 innings.

After struggling with the Braves, it could be the end of the line for Hand. However, he’s only 34 years old, so he might have 1-2 years left in the tank.
