These four former Philadelphia Eagles players are still unemployed as the 2024 NFL season reaches Week 2. Will any of them find a job soon?

3. Zach Cunningham, LB

Zach Cunningham only spent one season with the Eagles and it was forgettable, to say the least.

The former 2017 57th-overall selection registered 54 solo tackles, four broken-up passes, and a fumble recovery in 13 games with Philadelphia while failing to do anything memorable. His play also worsened as the season progressed as he finished with a Pro Football Focus defense grade of 59.6 or worse in six of his last nine games.

Even though general manager Howie Roseman said that Cunningham had a "good year," it's pretty telling that the Eagles still chose not to re-sign the veteran defender. If Philadelphia believed that Cunningham could help bring them back to the Super Bowl, chances are that they would've figured out a way to bring him back.

At the end of the day, Cunningham is an inconsistent tackler and pass rusher who also has his struggles in coverage. Until he can prove that he can play more of a complete game, his job opportunities will be few and far between.
