Copy and paste most of what I wrote about Bradberry.

Darius Slay isn't unplayable like Bradberry is. He had a down year in 2023, but ht'e sill probably a serviceable starting cornerback (for now, though at 33 years old it remains to be seen how long that will be the case).

But he's certainly not an $11 million and especially not a $14 million cornerback.

Unfortunately, whether the Eagles think he is worth that or not, they don't have a lot of options thanks to that whole void-year situation again. Parting ways with Slay would cost Philly about $10 million in cap space next offseason and nearly $25 million this offseason.

So what choice do the Eagles have? Slay is going to stay in the starting lineup getting overpaid, and Philly fans will just have to hope that his game doesn't deteriorate too much and that the Eagles find a better CB1 option to start alongside him.
