Brandon Aiyuk, San Francisco 49ers

This may be more of a pipe dream than a realistic target. Aiyuk has been on the trade block for a few weeks after failing to agree to a contract extension with the 49ers but there haven't been any rumors about a potential Eagles interest. It has been reported that the Patriots, Steelers, and Browns were the frontrunners with the possibility of the second-team All-Pro receiver coming back to San Francisco still alive as well.

That doesn't mean, however, that the Eagles shouldn't inquire. Trading for a player of Aiyuk's caliber would likely require a second-round pick for Philadelphia. San Francisco would presumably ask for a competent player in return as well since they are also trying to win the Super Bowl this year.

The Eagles are trying to get back to the Super Bowl as soon as possible so going all-in for another elite receiver makes some sense. Plus, they have two extra draft picks in the 2025 NFL Draft that they can use in a trade.

The complicating matter here is the fact that the Eagles would have to give Aiyuk a contract extension. He likely requires over $25 million annual average salary and considering how much Philly is already paying DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown, that could be difficult to stomach.

One can still dream though.
