2. Dallas Cowboys (Week 10)

After the bye in Week 5, three out of the Eagles’ next five games will be on the road. Their final road game during that five-game stretch will be against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10.

This season, the Cowboys-Eagles matchups will not get the primetime treatment, which hasn’t happened since 2006. However, the Week 10 matchup at AT&T Stadium could make a huge difference in the NFC East and NFC playoff races.

Heading into this season, most fans and analysts expect the NFC East to be a two-team race between the Eagles and Cowboys. Both teams are currently the favorite to win the division on FanDuel Sportsbook (+120).

Last season, the Eagles split the regular season series with the Cowboys, defeating Dallas 28-23 in Week 9 at Lincoln Financial Field. However, the Cowboys got their revenge on the Eagles, crushing them 33-13 at Jerry World.

At that point of the 2024 season, the Eagles would have only played one NFC East game – Week 7 against the New York Giants. If Philadelphia can take care of business against the Cowboys and have a 2-0 lead in the division, it could put them in the driver's seat down the stretch.

However, if the Eagles were to lose in Week 10, it would make their Week 17 rematch very important and put them in a tough spot with road games against the Los Angeles Rams and Baltimore Ravens in Week 12 and 13.
