3 Former Pro Bowlers the Eagles Can Still Sign in Free Agency

The hype of NFL free agency has dissipated, but there are a few former Pro Bowlers who could help the Philadelphia Eagles.

3. Stephon Gilmore

Sticking with the secondary, the Eagles could add more talent to their cornerback group even though it's deep with a lot of young players.

However, former Pro Bowl cornerback Stephon Gilmore is still on the open market after a great 2023 season with the Dallas Cowboys. The 33-year-old Gilmore hasn’t received much attention on the open market, but he can still play at a high level.

Last season with the Cowboys, the five-time Pro Bowl cornerback had 68 combined tackles, 13 pass deflections, and two interceptions. Gilmore also held his own in coverage, posting a 55.8 completion percentage, an 82.7 pass rating allowed when targeted, and gave up four receiving touchdowns.

The Eagles got an up-close look at Gilmore twice last season and know how good he’s playing on the boundary. If Philly decides they want to trade or release James Bradberry, then Gilmore could be a solid option to play opposite Darius Slay.
