After an unacceptable collapse in the back half of the 2024 season, it's no wonder that wholesale changes to the Philadelphia Eagles roster and coaching staff can be expected. The Eagles made a move in-season to replace defensive coordinator Sean Desai with Matt Patricia, but to no avail.

Both are gone and the Eagles made the bold move to go after legendary defensive coach Vic Fangio as their new coordinator. Coaching was a huge reason why the Eagles suffered a dropoff on both sides of the ball in 2023, and losing both Shane Steichen and Jonathan Gannon from that NFC Championship staff really hurt more than anyone could have anticipated.

But it won't just be coaches who are getting replaced in 2024. There are a number of Eagles players on the roster who could soon be given their walking papers, courtesy of players coming in through the 2024 NFL Draft. The Eagles have three picks in the first two rounds and some high impact starters should be expected.

Which veterans are on thin ice with the Draft looming?

1. Zach Cunningham, LB

You could add any off-ball linebacker into this slot. Zach Cunningham is a free agent, but former third-round pick Nakobe Dean will also be on replacement watch this offseason as well.

The Eagles underestimated just how crucial it would be to lose not one but both starting off-ball linebackers from their 2022 roster when Kyzir White and TJ Edwards bolted in free agency. Off-ball linebacker isn't the most glamorous position in today's NFL, but there was a clear dropoff and the Eagles noticed it

They brought in Shaquille Leonard when the Colts surprisingly let him go during last season, but ultimately, this team needs to find a couple of long-term options. The off-ball linebacker position is crucial to the success of Vic Fangio's defense.
