The Philadelphia Eagles have the best record in the NFL at 9-1, and they just got a huge road win against the Kansas City Chiefs. This team is obviously poised to go deep into the playoffs once again in a couple of months, but there obviously can't be any leaks if this team wants to win the Super Bowl and not fall short like last year.

Every team has to deal with injuries. Every team has to deal with inconsistency at certain positions. There's an unpredictable nature to the way an NFL season can play out, and Eagles GM Howie Roseman is one general manager who is always willing to explore every avenue to do something about it.

What players may need to be benched for the Eagles before the team gets to the playoffs?

1. Nicholas Morrow, linebacker

The Philadelphia Eagles have had to take on a ton of change at the linebacker position since they were in the Super Bowl back in February. Their two starters from the Super Bowl were TJ Edwards and Kyzir White, and both of those players left in free agency.

Zach Cunningham has come in and done a really good job for Philadelphia. He looks like another genius signing by Howie Roseman. But Nicholas Morrow and the spot that was vacated by the injured Nakobe Dean have been something of a problem for the Eagles.

At the very least, they could stand to upgrade. Perhaps we'll see Howie Roseman get really aggressive and go after a player like Shaquille Leonard, who was just shockingly released by the Indianapolis Colts.
