3. Kenneth Gainwell

With D’Andre Swift listed as an unrestricted free agent, Kenneth Gainwell is the logical choice to become the Eagles’ No. 1 running back in 2024.

However, there’s a chance the Eagles could bring in another running back, such as Tony Pollard, who was with Moore in Dallas and would instantly become the lead back in Philly. If that were to happen, Gainwell’s role could be limited even though he’s competent in pass protection.

Gainwell saw increased production on the ground this season as he had a career-high in carries (83). The 24-year-old running back had 364 yards and two touchdowns. Gainwell was a factor in the passing game with 30 receptions (37 targets) for 183 yards.

It’s been documented that Moore leans more toward the passing game, which could lead to lesser production for whoever the starting running back for the Eagles is next season.
