The Philadelphia Eagles are officially the first seven-win team in the NFL this season after a really thrilling Week 8 matchup against the Washington Commanders. Although the Commanders were able to hang tough in this matchup, the Eagles are just too talented and have way too much margin for error, and we saw that play out in this game.

Even if you are able to gain an edge on the Eagles, it's just so hard to beat this team because it has so many different ways they can win. Who stood out in this game for Philadelphia, the best team in the NFC?

Let's look at some studs and duds on either side of the ball.

Philadelphia Eagles studs and duds vs. Washington Commanders

Stud: AJ Brown, WR

What else can be said about AJ Brown that hasn't already been said? This guy is the best wide receiver in the NFL right now, and there's really no one out there that can stop him. In this game against the Commanders, AJ Brown became the first player in NFL history with six straight games of at least 125 receiving yards.

It doesn't matter how you try to cover him, Brown can't even be limited at this point, much less contained. The Eagles are feeding him and he feasted vs. Washington with eight receptions on eight targets for 130 yards and two more touchdowns.

The word "dominant" barely seems to adequately cover it.
