3. Hassan Ridgeway

The 29-year-old defensive lineman spent three seasons with the Eagles before playing the last two years in San Francisco and Houston. Ridgeway’s best season with Philadelphia happened in 2021 where he played in all 17 games.

The veteran defensive tackle had 20 combined tackles, five quarterback hits, two sacks, and a tackle for loss. Ridgeway parlayed that success and signed a one-year deal with the 49ers in 2022.

The former fourth-round pick of the Colts started in seven out of 12 games for San Francisco during that season. Ridgeway also played 39 percent of defensive snaps — a notable improvement from his last season with the Eagles.

The 6-foot-3, 305-pound defensive tackle had 28 combined tackles (career-high), four QB hits, three tackles for loss, and a sack. Ridgeway couldn’t replicate that success with the Texans last season as he played in three games due to a torn Achilles in Week 9 after being activated off of injured reserve.

If Ridgeway is healthy, he could be a solid depth signing for a team looking for a defensive tackle this summer. The NFL shows us every year that you cannot have too much defensive line depth as injuries happen throughout the year.
