It wasn't the prettiest game by the Philadelphia Eagles' offense, but considering the way Vic Fangio's defense brought the red-hot New Orleans Saints to a screeching halt in Week 3, the Eagles are coming off of a pretty impressive victory overall. But they don't have any more time to bask in that victory as a road matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers now awaits.

And the Bucs are coming off of a brutal loss at home against the Denver Broncos, so you know they are going to come into Week 4 with a bit of a chip on their shoulder.

The Eagles are out for a measure of revenge after the Bucs ended their season last year in the playoffs, but there are some players for the Eagles who need to get their acts together before Week 4. Which Eagles players might be treading some thin ice this coming week?

Jalen Hurts Leads Eagles Players On Thin Ice Entering Week 4

1. Jalen Hurts, Quarterback

I'm not going to sit here and lie to you and tell you that there's even a remote chance that the Philadelphia Eagles are going to bench Jalen Hurts or something like that, but I still think Hurts is on some thin ice as we enter Week 4 action.

Going on the road and taking on the Bucs is not going to be an easy task for the Eagles, and we have seen Hurts struggle with ball security dating back to last season. The Bucs are going to smell blood in the water here. Hurts has already thrown four interceptions this season and has an interception percentage of 3.9, which would be the highest of his NFL career to this point if it holds.

On top of his four interceptions already this season, Hurts has three fumbles, putting him on pace for a whopping 17 fumbles this season. Considering he's had nine every single year of his career so far, that would be a substantial increase from what we've seen before. Hurts just needs to take better care of the ball, or the Eagles' offense is going to continue to underachieve. It's as simple as that.

Perhaps the return of AJ Brown will help Hurts keep the ball away from the other team a bit more.
