3. Sean Desai

The Eagles' defense had a mouth-watering matchup in Week 8 against the Commanders. Washington not only entered the contest ranked No. 10 in fewest total yards per game, but also led the league with a whopping 40 sacks allowed as well.

Everyone expected Philadelphia to feast, yet Commanders offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy clearly got the better of Eagles defensive coordinator Sean Desai -- again. Bieniemy's group racked up 472 total yards, finding plenty of success through the air especially, but on the ground as well.

Even worse, Philly didn't record a sack until right before the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter. Though the defensive line was without Jalen Carter for most of the contest, there's no reason this group should've performed like that.

Philadelphia's all-around defensive struggles fall squarely on Desai's shoulders. He was nearly bested by Bieniemy in Week 3, allowing Washington to put up 365 total yards and a shocking 31 points. That should've prepped him to make proper adjustments in the matchup, yet Washington moved the ball even more efficiently this time.

While the Eagles pulled the win out, Desai's certainly at fault for things being much closer than anticipated. Hopefully he's able to properly prepare his group for the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9.
