3. Tarron Jackson, EDGE

One position that has gotten a major overhaul for the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2024 offseason is the EDGE position.

The Eagles brought in big-money free agent Bryce Huff and traded Haason Reddick to the New York Jets in unrelated moves, even though Huff came to Philadelphia from the Jets. Philly used a third-round pick on sleeper pass rusher Jalyx Hunt to potentially give a boost to this unit's depth, and even holdover Josh Sweat changed his jersey to #19 (previously #94).

With 2023 first-round pick Nolan Smith also expected to have an increased role and veteran Brandon Graham back in the mix again this season, it's hard to find where the snaps could come for 2021 sixth-round pick Tarron Jackson. Jackson was considered one of the top small-school sleepers in that 2021 class, and the Eagles were thought to have a big-time steal in the sixth round of that class.

Jackson did play a bit as a rookie, but he only appeared in four games in 2022 and that was the last time we saw him.

If Tarron Jackson is going to have a comeback as an NFL player, it's likely only going to be in Philadelphia through the 2024 preseason. He's probably going to get cut or traded and have to make a name for himself elsewhere in the NFL.
