Dud: Jalen Hurts, Quarterback

Injuries played a part in this one but things were tough throughout for Jalen Hurts. The star quarterback seemed to be under pressure from the moment he snapped the ball and after a while, he started to simply expect to have no time in the pocket.

He wound up missing a couple of passes he normally would hit on and even had three interceptions. The first came right after the Jets cut it to a 7-3 lead in the second quarter. Hurts tried to get the ball to Dallas Goedert but Quinnen Williams wound up with an interception after Bryce Huff tipped a pass that Goedert was unable to haul in.

The second pick Hurts threw was also due to the O-line allowing the defense to get in as Jermaine Johnson got past Jack Driscoll and hit the quarterback's arm as he attempted to push the ball downfield. That pass ended up floating in the air similar to a punt and landed directly in the arms of Bryce Hall.

The defense was able to rise to the occasion on each of those, forcing a turnover on downs after the pick from Williams. They then forced a quick punt after Hall took the ball away. But the final pick from Hurts was too much to overcome.

Late in the fourth, with Philly nursing a two-point lead, Hurts stared down A.J. Brown and threw a pass with two defensive backs watching — and waiting — for the ball. Tony Adams ended up with the pick and ran it back 45 yards, setting up the game-winning touchdown.

Hurts nearly threw a fourth pick to close the game out as he was trying to push the ball downfield on fourth down. It was easily his worst game of the year and the most interceptions he's ever had in a single game.
