The Philadelphia Eagles were one of the most aggressive teams in the NFL during free agency. Last season ended on a bad note and the Eagles don't want the same thing to happen in 2024.

GM Howie Roseman managed to sign Saquon Barkley, and Bryce Huff and brought back Chauncey Gardner-Johnson into the fold. They also shipped out Haason Reddick, so there will be some new faces.

But a mainstay in the city of Brotherly Love is quarterback Jalen Hurts. The Eagles gave Hurts a massive five-year, $255 million extension with $179.3 million in fully guaranteed money in 2023.

As the Eagles starter, he owns a 34-17 record while tossing 11,764 passing yards, 2,503 rushing yards, and 108 total touchdowns. He's the guy for the present and the future so the Eagles must take into account their franchise quarterback when on the clock in the NFL Draft.

Below we'll discuss three players who Hurts would love to have on the team.

1. Jackson Powers-Johnson, C

The Eagles saw long-time center Jason Kelce retire after 13 seasons with the franchise. Kelce was an anchor along the interior and Philly is tasked with replacing him. They will reportedly have Cam Jurgens replace Kelce at center but Jurgens has been a productive guard in this league.

A player the Eagles should look at bringing in Oregon center Jackson Powers-Johnson. He's one of the smartest and instinctive offensive linemen in this year's class.

Powers-Johnson quickly climbs the second level in the ground game and looks to knock defenders off their feet. He has fierce hands and plays the game with an edge.

The Utah native also does a great job communicating upfront on blitzes and stunts. Across 1,355 offensive snaps in three years, Powers-Johnson gave up zero sacks, one QB hit, and three hurries.

He also led the Ducks in knockdowns (37) during the 2023 campaign. A player like that who runs with juice would certainly bring a smile to Hurts' face.
