3. Eagles Re-Sign D’Andre Swift

Unlike the first two predictions, this isn’t a bold take. It's more so what the Eagles should do this offseason.

The Eagles opted to not re-sign Miles Sanders last offseason and got Swift in a draft weekend trade with the Detroit Lions. The Philly native brought an explosiveness to the Eagles’ backfield that they didn’t have last season with Sanders.

Swift proved to the league that he could stay healthy and be productive at the same time. The 25-year-old running back had a career-high 1,049 rushing yards and scored five touchdowns on the ground.

The Eagles don’t usually hand out multi-year free agent deals for running backs, but this is the offseason they go against the grain and extend Swift. The hometown kid is the perfect running back to pair with the Eagles’ young core and could be utilized as a weapon in the passing game by Kellen Moore.
