With minicamps wrapped up, the Philadelphia Eagles are ready to turn their attention to training camp. They’ll have more than a month off before that happens but once it does, their work will ramp up with the regular season right around the corner.

Before they worry about Week 1 — and their date with the Green Bay Packers in Brazil — the Eagles need to get everyone on the same page. There are new faces on the roster and in the coaching ranks as well, meaning these offseason programs will be huge for this team.

With that being the case, here’s a look at three players who have already been able to turn heads as early winners in the offseason.

3. Will Shipley, Running Back

The Eagles ground game will look vastly different this offseason thanks to the arrival of Saquon Barkley. The former New York Giant will be their featured back but the rest of the depth chart is unsettled.

That could open the door for fourth-round pick Will Shipley. The Clemson product could become the No. 2 back as early as this year and he’s making sure to put himself in a position to take that spot. He’s been identified as an early standout, especially when it comes to catching the ball.

"One of the obvious standouts on the day was rookie RB Will Shipley, who worked quite a bit out of the slot, and who made about a half dozen receptions on the day. I thought his most impressive moment came on a reception deep down the field, after which he turned on the jets." — Jimmy Kempski, Philly Voice Staff

Shipley has a way to go until he can unseat Kenneth Gainwell but he’s doing all he can to ensure he sees the field often as a rookie.
