The Philadelphia 76ers have a bunch of things that need to be checked off their list this offseason. After a disappointing end to the 2023-24 season that saw Philadelphia fall to the New York Knicks in the first round, the 76ers need to reshape their roster.

They have Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey as their two star players going into next season so the next step is surrounding them with capable role players.

Philadelphia will have $55.5 million in cap space so they will be aggressive on the free agent market. The latest report revealed that the 76ers are expected to have interest in a two-time NBA Champion.

76ers News: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Will Have Interest From Philadelphia

According to ESPN's Zach Lowe, the 76ers are going to show interest in Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

He would be the perfect addition to the backcourt for the 76ers. Caldwell-Pope is a 3 & D player who thrives off the ball and will be an asset as a catch-and-shoot threat. He also plays stingy and gritty defense with the ability to guard multiple positions.

In his career, Caldwell-Pope averages 11.4 points, three rebounds, 1.1 steals, and shoots 36.9% from beyond the arc. Over the last two years with the Denver Nuggets, he's shot over 40% from downtown.

The 31-year-old is a two-time NBA Champion, securing titles with the Nuggets and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Furthermore, he's played in 62 playoff games in his career. He's the perfect player that Philadelphia needs to add this offseason. He can excel without the ball in his hands and be a top-notch defender.
