8. Will Grier, QB

Jalen Hurts, Kenny Pickett, and preseason fan-favorite Tanner McKee are firmly established as the top three quarterbacks on the roster. Will Grier is the odd-man out and hasn't done enough to make this a particularly difficult decision for Roseman.

A 2019 third-round pick by the Carolina Panthers out of West Virginia, Grier has had chances to start in the league but couldn't make the most of those chances. He's completed only 53.8% of his passes with no TDs to four interceptions with a 33.2 passer rating that borders on genuine disaster.

Even still, Grier is a player who threw for 7,354 yards in two years as a Mountaineer, displaying quick processing skills and a strong, accurate arm. His 71 passing TDs over those two seasons made him one of the better QB prospects in the 2019 NFL Draft, but his skillset hasn't translated the way some scouts believed it would.

The real question for Philadelphia is whether to keep McKee on as the third QB or move forward with just Hurts and Pickett. McKee outplayed Pickett in the preseason, with fans praising his aggressive downfield nature compared to Pickett's conservative approach.

It feels more likely than not that McKee winds up on the team, though it's obvious that Grier doesn't have a place in the organization at this point.
