9. Tyrion Davis-Price, RB

Tyrion Davis-Price is another talented player who offers plenty of upside but likely doesn't have a realistic path to making the final roster barring a surprise injury. The 2022 San Francisco 49ers' third-round pick only has seven career games to his name, yet impressed enough during the preseason that he'll be a difficult cut regardless.

Against the Vikings, Davis-Price notched 56 yards on 12 carries. He's received high praise for his work this summer, yet the Eagles' established running back rotation likely means Davis-Price will be a roster casualty.

Saquon Barkely, Kenneth Gainwell, and 2024 fourth-round selection Will Shipley are all considered locks. Unless the Eagles surprisingly keep four players at the position, that means Davis-Price doesn't have a true path. Similar to Ross, he's a practice squad candidate who could contribute down the line should injuries occur.

While Davis-Price was impressive against Minnesota, he did lose a fumble and lacks the same home-run upside or consistency that Barkley, Gainwell, and Shipley all possess.

He was spectacular in college at LSU, accumulating 1,929 yards from scrimmage and 15 TDs over a three-year career. There's a place in the league for Davis-Price and at only 23 years old, his best football should be ahead of him.

Unless Roseman has a trick up his sleeve though, Davis-Price will have to wait a while longer to earn the opportunity to make a true impact at the NFL level.
