Nick Sirianni and the Philadelphia Eagles are returning to the Super Bowl for the second time in the last three years after defeating the Washington Commanders, 55-23 in the NFC title game.

Sirianni will try to lead the Eagles to their second Super Bowl championship in franchise history. However, it won’t be easy for Sirianni and Co. as the Chiefs are on the verge of winning a third consecutive Super Bowl, which hasn’t been done in the Super Bowl era.

Coincidentally, the Chiefs’ road to a three-peat started in Super Bowl 57 against the Eagles, as Philadelphia lost 38-35. After losing in heart-breaking fashion, you must believe the Eagles want to be on the winning side of the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Sirianni met with the media as Philadelphia will start to prepare for the biggest game of the entire 2024 season. Sirianni told reporters a “big chunk” of the game plan for the Super Bowl is already ready to go.

As you can imagine, Eagles fans on social media loved to hear that as the fan base is hungry for this team to finish the job after falling short a couple of years ago.

Most of the coaches and players from that 2022 Super Bowl squad are still on the roster, which is good heading into this big stage. That previous experience should help everybody involved be ready for this monumental moment.

For the Eagles to come away with the upset win, they must keep doing the same things that have gotten them to this point. On offense, star quarterback Jalen Hurts has to continue to play clean and efficient football and the Eagles must lean on superstar running back Saquon Barkley, who has not shied away from the big moment in the playoffs.

Finally, on the defense, the Eagles must be disciplined at all three levels, get pressure on Chiefs superstar QB Patrick Mahomes, and try to force at least 1 or 2 turnovers. If Philadelphia can do those things, they give themselves a shot in his rematch.
