The Philadelphia Eagles finished the story on Sunday night, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl 59 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The Eagles were looking to avenge their loss to the Chiefs in Super Bowl 57 a couple of years ago, and they did just that. Philadelphia handled its business on both sides of the ball.

The Eagles’ defensive line sacked Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes six times and forced him into two interceptions (including a pick-six).

Then on the offensive side of the ball, the Eagles got a tremendous performance from Jalen Hurts, who produced 293 total yards, three total TDs, and an interception. The performance from Hurts was needed as the Chiefs’ defense made their top priority to slow down star running back Saquon Barkley.

However, Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore continued to dial up plays for Hurts and he made plays.

Nick Sirianni Wants Kellen Moore to Stay With Eagles After Super Bowl Win

If you are head coach Nick Sirianni, you couldn’t have asked for a better performance from your team and coordinators.

After the game, Sirianni jokingly begged Moore to stay with the Eagles to run it back next season. Moore is reportedly on the verge of becoming the next head coach of the New Orleans Saints.

“Let’s run this s*** back, Kellen,” Sirianni on the podium after the Eagles’ blowout Super Bowl win over the Chiefs.

In a perfect world, the Eagles would love to keep Moore around after winning the Super Bowl this season. The Eagles haven't had stability at offensive coordinator since the 2021 and '22 seasons with Shane Steichen, who became the Indianapolis Colts head coach.

However, with Philadelphia’s offense having so much success this season, it was only a matter of time before someone offered Moore a job.
