After falling short to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 57, the Philadelphia Eagles got their revenge on the two-time defending champs on Sunday, defeating them resoundingly 40-22 in Super Bowl 59.

The Eagles had an impressive effort, handling the Chiefs on both sides of the ball. It was the perfect performance from Philadelphia, who played their best game when it counted the most.

After Sunday’s win, former Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, who helped Philadelphia win its first Super Bowl in 2018 against the New England Patriots poked some fun at Tom Brady, who was on the call for Super Bowl 59.

The former Super Bowl 52 MVP said on Twitter/X, “It’s really cool that Tom Brady got to be there for the Eagles’ two Super Bowl wins! He might be a good luck charm. Have a great night!”

Foles and the Eagles shockingly defeated Brady and the Pats in Super Bowl 52, 41-33, despite the former New England quarterback throwing for 505 yards and three touchdowns.

Foles did not outduel the former Pats quarterback in the box score as he had 373 passing yards, four total touchdowns (three passing TDs), and an interception. But all that matters is the Eagles came out victorious.

After seeing how the Eagles performed on Sunday night in Super Bowl 59, maybe Brady might be their good luck charm. During this playoff run, Brady has been on the call for two of the Eagles' three playoff games.

Play-by-play commentator Kevin Burkhardt and Brady were on the call for the Eagles' wild card game against the Green Bay Packers. Then they were on the call for the Eagles' NFC title game win over the Washington Commanders.

Between those two games and Sunday's Super Bowl 59 performance, Brady has had an up close view of the Eagles' dominance.
