The Philadelphia Eagles are going back to the Super Bowl for the second time in the last three years as they will face the back-to-back champs the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans.

The Eagles dominated the Washington Commanders, 55-23 in the NFC Championship Game, punching their ticket to Super Bowl 59.

Philadelphia received a tremendous performance from superstar running back Saquon Barkley, who scored a 60-yard rushing touchdown on the Eagles’ first play on offense. Barkley finished the game with 118 yards and three scores on 15 carries.

In addition to the ground game, the Eagles’ passing game came to life, as star wide receiver A.J. Brown erupted for six receptions (eight targets) for 96 yards and a touchdown. Washington standout cornerback Marshon Lattimore or rookie Mike Sainristil had no answers for the veteran wide receiver.

Speaking of Lattimore, he and Brown got into it a couple of times in the NFC title game, which included a heated moment between the two late in the first half.

Lattimore was penalized for his actions, receiving a flag for unnecessary roughness as the two were in a shoving match. That penalty helped the Eagles’ offense as their two-point attempt was moved to the one-yard line.

However, the Commanders’ defense surprisingly stopped Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts on the tush push, leaving the score at 20-12.

Nevertheless, the NFL did not forget about that heated moment in the game between Lattimore and Brown. The league reportedly fined Brown $11,255 for a facemask violation, as he pulled off Lattimore’s helmet during the back and forth.

Brown wasn’t the only Eagles player to receive a fine from the league for the NFC title game. The NFL also issued a hefty $17,445 fine to second-year defensive lineman Jalen Carter for an open-handed blow to the head of Commanders center Tyler Biadasz.
