The Philadelphia Eagles have entered week three of training camp and have their first preseason game taking place on Aug. 7 against the Cincinnati Bengals. After an offseason filled with changes on the roster, this is the time when guys give a glimpse of how they'll impact the team in 2025.

Some players have stood out while some others have been disappointing. The Eagles signed linebacker Azeez Ojulari to a one-year, $3 million deal in free agency, but the pass rusher has been fairly quiet in camp and has seemingly been passed on the depth chart by another vet.

Eagles LB Azeez Ojulari is off to a Slow Start in Camp

According to Eliot Shorr-Parks, Ojulari got some first-team reps with the defense on Aug. 1, and he added that Ojulari has had a slow summer thus far. Meanwhile, Jimmy Kempski of the Philly Voice tweeted on Monday that it looks like Josh Uche is the EDGE3 over Ojulari.

The last three seasons have been filled with several injuries for the Georgia product. He's missed at least seven games due to hamstring, quad, calf, ankle, and toe injuries. These things have limited his ceiling, and it looks like he's still having trouble getting back to his old self.

Over the last two seasons with the New York Giants, he finished with a 56 or lower overall grade and a 54 or lower pass rush grade per PFF.

And it looks like that level of play has transitioned over to Philadelphia. The opportunities are there for the taking with Josh Sweat and Bryce Huff no longer in the pass-rushing rotation. Nolan Smith and Jalyx Hunt seem to be the leaders in that department as starters, with Uche being the first one off the bench.

Preseason will be big for Ojulari as he seeks to carve out a role for himself. He hasn't been able to generate pressure against the Eagles' offensive line through the first two weeks of camp. The 25-year-old has been brought in on a one-year prove-it deal by the Birds. And as of now, he hasn't answered the call.

Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio isn't afraid of keeping ineffective guys on the bench, as he did that last season with Huff. If Ojulari doesn't step things up, he'll sit on the bench for 2025.
