Have the Philadelphia Eagles found their next superstar wide receiver?
Heading into their Super Bowl championship defense, the Eagles return with a loaded roster from top to bottom, especially on the defensive side of the ball, who gave Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs fits in the Birds' dominant Super Bowl win.
While the defense is stacked on all three levels, the offense boasts several All-Pro and Pro Bowl names, highlighted by the best offensive line in the league, who protects Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, AJ Brown, and DeVonta Smith.
However, you can never have too many stars, and Nick Siranni may have found a diamond in the rough in the form of undrafted rookie wide receiver Darius Cooper.
Darius Cooper Is Impressing Eagles Coaching Staff
During the Eagles' 34-27 pre-season opening victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, a new name may have proven to be next-in-line behind franchise stalwarts in AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith.
Undrafted rookie wide receiver Darius Cooper went ballistic in the Eagles' win over the Bengals. The former Tarleton State star led all players with six catches for 82 yards and a touchdown.

Following his dominant pre-season debut, Cooper had a viral, wholesome moment with Eagles reporters, politely introducing himself to those he hopes are the people who will be covering him during the regular season after he makes the club's 53-man roster.
“Darius Cooper. Graduated from Tarleton State. Originally from St Louis, Missouri. It’s a blessing to be here," the rookie told reporters after his huge debut performance.

With the aforementioned Brown and Smith, the unquestioned top targets for reigning Super Bowl MVP, Jalen Hurts, there may be a path for Cooper to surpass the likes of Jahan Dotson, Ainias Smith, Johnny Wilson, and Terrace Marshall Jr. for the number three spot on the club's receiver depth chart.
In his senior year at Tarleton State, Cooper caught 76 passes for 1,449 yards (led all FCS players), and 14 touchdowns, but went undrafted during this past April's NFL Draft. Hopefully, he can become the next great wideout for the organization.
