All Philadelphia Eagles fans were fully focused on the status of starting quarterback Jalen Hurts this week, as he dealt with a knee injury prior to the NFC title game on Sunday. However, he got through this matchup against the Washington Commanders without any issues, but some concerns remain.

Whether or not Hurts can suit up in the Super Bowl isn't necessarily in question, though he still delivered an answer to reporters after the NFC Championship.

Jalen Hurts Reveals Injury Status After Eagles Win Over Commanders

Hurts admitted he put in extensive work to be ready and he was dealing with a sickness as well, yet he still showed up in the most important moments for Philadelphia.

Hurts was impressive against the Commanders, completing 20 of his 28 passes for 246 yards with a TD and no turnovers. He was only sacked twice, adding 10 carries for 16 yards and a pair of scores on the ground.

That he was so effective with the Tush Push says it all, as Hurts is the engine behind which this offense drives.

Moving forward, Hurts' status is a key storyline to watch. Alongside Saquon Barkley, he's the most important member of this offense. Hurts has now made his second Super Bowl in his tenure with the team but if he's limited at all, the Eagles' chances decrease significantly.

Hurts' questions as a passer are nothing new to the coaching staff. They've done a tremendous job adjusting for those issues and Barkley is the ideal complement. Luckily, Hurts shouldn't face any limitations moving forward.
