The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs have arrived in New Orleans for Super Bowl 59. This is a highly anticipated matchup, as this is the second time these two teams have played each other in the big game.

The Eagles, who had an impressive regular season performance, and dominant playoff run, are looking to avenge their Super Bowl 57 loss to the Chiefs. On Monday night, the two teams went through Opening Night festivities, including multiple players and coaches' interviews with media across the world.

Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts was one of the first players to speak Monday night at Super Bowl Opening Night as he was peppered with multiple questions. However, one question that Hurts got from the media allowed him to shine some light on some of the unsung players on the roster.

According to Brandon Lee Gowton of Bleeding Green Nation, Hurts was asked about the most underrated player on the Eagles. Instead of highlighting just one player, the star QB shouted out Sydney Brown, Tyler Steen, Oren Burks, Kenny Gainwell, and Will Shipley.

All these players do the dirty work, don’t get enough credit, and played an integral part in getting the Eagles to the Super Bowl.

Brown hasn’t received many defensive snaps this season, but he’s performed well on the kick and punt coverage units. Meanwhile, Steen has been called upon to step in on the offensive line when a starter goes down and the line doesn’t miss a beat.

Gainwell is the backup to Barkley and one of the Eagles’ primary kick returners. As for Shipley, he doesn’t get many return or offensive snaps, but he made his presence felt in the NFC title game. The rookie running back forced a fumble late in the first half and scored his first career TD in the fourth quarter against the Commanders.

Lastly, Burks has stepped up for starting linebacker Nakobe Dean, who suffered a season-ending injury in the wild-card round against the Green Bay Packers.

None of these guys are household names, but they’ve done an excellent job when their number has been called. The Eagles hope one of these players will make an impact play in the Super Bowl on Sunday.
