The Philadelphia Eagles are absolutely rolling as they head into Week 12, taking a six-game winning streak into their matchup against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night. At 8-2, Philly owns one of the best records in the conference and even leads the NFC East, so its focus now is on attaining the best seed possible for the playoffs.

One way the Eagles can help their cause is by adding talent to this roster down the stretch who could provide a potential boost. And one candidate who might be able to do just that is now available.

On Monday, the Las Vegas Raiders announced their decision to release wide receiver Jalen Guyton from their practice squad. The speedy deep threat came over from the Los Angeles Chargers but failed to appear in a single game for Las Vegas during the 2024 campaign.

While things didn't work out for Guyton in Sin City, his name very likely may pique the Eagles' interest due to his previous work with Kellen Moore.

Guyton and Moore have worked together not once but twice during their respective careers. They first crossed paths in 2019, when Guyton caught on with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted rookie signing while Moore was a first-time coordinator.

The wideout was cut by Dallas early in the offseason, but he ended up in LA quickly after, and Moore landed with the Chargers, too, in 2023. Unfortunately injuries were catching up to the WR at that point, so he put together a dismal 10/89/1 touchdown line under Moore, but his 4/41/1 showing in Week 10 of that season showed Guyton still has some playmaking left in him.

With the Eagles' wide receiver production behind AJ Brown and DeVonat Smith lacking, this area of the roster remains open to competition. Adding someone like Guyton, who has a pair of 450-yard and 3-TD campaigns to his name, would at least put pressure on WR3 options such as Jahan Dotson and Johnny Wilson to step up as the regular season comes to a close.

Stashing Guyton on the practice squad is a low-cost move that has a legit upside for Nick Sirianni if it pays off.
