The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs will square off in Super Bowl 59 on Sunday. This contest has taken over the NFL world, as the top two teams in the league are left.
While that is the focus of these two teams, the rest of the league is looking ahead to the 2025 season. Coaching staffs around the NFL are beginning to fill up and a former Eagle could land on the Detroit Lions staff.
According to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, the Lions are going to interview Darren Sproles for a role on their staff.

Darren Sproles Expected to Interview With the Detroit Lions
The Lions' coaching staff has been getting plucked at left and right since their season ended in the divisional round. Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn left town to become head coaches and took multiple assistants with them.
Sproles is someone who caught the Lions' attention. The 41-year-old has been a personnel consultant for Philadelphia since 2020. Prior to landing this role, Sproles was a 15-year vet. He spent time with the Eagles, San Diego Chargers, and New Orleans Saints.
From 2014-2019 with the Eagles, he finished with 1,331 rushing yards and 12 rushing scores. He also added 175 receptions for 1,459 receiving yards, and five receiving scores. Sproles secured Super Bowl LII with Philadelphia and gave them a veteran presence in the locker room.
The Kansas State product doesn't have any coaching experience at the NFL or college level, but is an intriguing name to watch.
He's been around the Philadelphia organization for the past decade and has seen countless success. Therefore, if Sproles wants to stand on the sideline as a coach, the choice will be his.
Whether that will be with the Lions remains to be seen but his name has been floated around.
