OTAs around the league have been kicking off and the Philadelphia Eagles had their first day start on May 27.

The Super Bowl champs will be using these practices to continue building continuity as they look to defend their title in 2025.

While that is happening in the city of Brotherly Love, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers also had Day 1 of OTAs start on Tuesday. During that session, former Eagles edge rusher Haason Reddick was not spotted at practice.

When speaking to the media, Tampa Bay head coach said, "I'm sure one of these days we'll see him," when referring to Reddick.

This March, the Bucs gave Reddick a one-year, $14 million deal, but they didn't add any financial incentive to get him to show up, and that could be a mistake. Last April, Philly fetched a 2026 third-round pick from the New York Jets in return for Reddick.

That trade was a masterclass by GM Howie Roseman due to what happened in the Big Apple. Reddick held out Jets OTAs, minicamp, training camp, and even the first six games of the 2024 season. He finally reported to New York in October, but looked like a shell of himself.

In 10 games (two starts), Reddick finished with 14 total tackles, three QB hits, and one sack. That was such a letdown after an effective two-year run with the Eagles.

Over 34 games with Philadelphia, the Temple product logged 87 total stops, 24 TFLs, 49 QB hits, 27 sacks, and five forced fumbles. He was a true game wrecker with the Birds, but that didn't translate to New York.

Even after that disaster, he hasn't seemed to learn and is making the same mistake. Yeah, it's just Day 1, so he could show up in the near future, but this isn't a good start with his new club.

OTAs have been on the calendar for months, and on Day 1, he failed to show up for his new coaches and teammates.
