With the 2025 NFL Draft officially on the books, the teams around the league are putting the final touches on their rosters. Teams have been adding free agents still on the market, signing UDFA rookies, and sending camp invites for their offseason programs.

That means some former Eagles are finding new opportunities. On Friday, it was former first-round pick Andre Dillard who signed with a new team. According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, Dillard signed with the San Francisco 49ers on a one-year deal.

NFL News: Andre Dillard Signs With the 49ers

This will be Dillard's third team in three years since leaving the Eagles. Philadelphia had declined the fifth-year option on his contract, making him a free agent in the 2023 offseason. He then signed a three-year, $29 million deal with the Titans, before getting released after one season.

Dillard spent last season with the Packers but didn't have much of a role in Green Bay's crowded offensive line. He still suited up in ten games, playing mostly on the special teams.

The 29-year-old offensive lineman is still trying to revive his career after struggling ever since he was the No. 22 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. After showing intriguing flashes early in his career, Dillard was projected to be the long-term starting left tackle for Philadelphia. Before his second season in the NFL, Dillard suffered a torn biceps and was ruled out for the season.

This pushed Dillard further down in the pecking order, especially with the emergence of Jordan Mailata. He was still good enough in a reduced role to earn himself a lucrative deal with Tennessee, but things have been going poorly for the former Washington State standout since then.

Eagles fans will be tuned into news out of San Francisco to see if their former draft bust turns his luck around in the NFL.
