Brandon Graham got emotional as he announced his retirement after an Eagles record 15 seasons.

What a ride. What a story. What a career. What a legacy.

Calling it quits on his terms and on top of the World after winning his second Super Bowl.

Graham got extra emotional thanking his parents for their unwavering support throughout his remarkable journey. Graham also thanked his Eagles teammates and former teammates including Trent Cole, who helped him get through dark times early in his NFL career when he was labeled a first-round bust coming out of Michigan in 2010.

That's right, there was not always love in the City of Brotherly love for Graham, hard to believe, but his story is a testament to his hard work and desire to never give up. It's a mindset he tries to pass on to those closest to him.

Graham credited his wife Carly for helping him mentally during that difficult period, recalling how he didn’t want to leave his house. Down in the dumps, Graham says his wife told him to do something about it—get out of the house and get involved in the community.

Graham did more than just get out of the house. He got out of his slump, made a name for himself, and went on to make arguably the greatest play in franchise history. Graham strip-sacked fellow Michigan Alum, Tom Brady in Super Bowl LII, to help win the first in Eagles history.

“I gave everything I had. I have no regrets," Graham said during his emotional press conference surrounded by both of the Eagles Super Bowl trophies.

Graham also said that had he not won his second Super Bowl, he would have begged to come back another season. He admitted to crying as he made his decision to call it quits on his terms but emphasized that he was indeed happy with the decision. Despite this, he says he will miss everything about the game—from the wins to the sacks to his teammates, and even the trash-talking, which he is notorious for.

He finishes his career with 82 total sacks, 24 forced fumbles, two Super Bowl rings, and a legacy as a true Philadelphia sports icon.

That play remains one of the most memorable in NFL history and solidified his place in Philadelphia sports lore.

"I am overwhelmed with gratitude for this magical place," Graham said as he fought back tears.

Off the field, his leadership in the locker room and his charitable work in the Philadelphia community further endeared him to fans.

"Finally, to Philadelphia. We didn't start so good as you know, you made me work for this and I appreciate you for that," Graham said. "You never let me get comfortable. You held me accountable, you kept that chip on my shoulder, and when the time came we celebrated together two times. Your loyalty, your fire and your unwavering support mean everything to me and this organization.. This game has changed my life, but more importantly, this city has changed my life. My love for this team and this city will never fade."

Graham did one last Eagles chant to close his speech.

"E-A-G-L-E-S... Eagles!" Graham said with a smile.

As Graham steps away from the game, speculation arises about his future—whether in coaching, broadcasting, or continuing his philanthropic efforts.

Graham doesn’t know what’s next for him yet, but he plans to have dinner with Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie to talk and celebrate an amazing career.

Regardless of his next move, his legacy as an Eagles legend is cemented forever.
